A Donnybrook Farm Wedding

Hannah & Kieren’s wedding was held at Hannah’s grandparents family farm located in Donnybrook Western Australia, a short drive out of town. The family farm is a place of history as well as a stunning pop up wedding location (with the help of some hard work from the family). The ceremony was held in the old quarry a couple of kilometres into the property and up the hill. We travelled to the ceremony on the back of a quad ATV with the groomsmen while the bridal party & grandparents arrived seated on hay bales on the the back of a tractor trailer. They truely captured the essence of a country wedding. The guests gathered on top of the quarry wall surrounding the wedding party at the bottom. A truly unique & memorable ceremony within the heart of their family farm. We were serenaded by Kieren’s friends’ ukulele cover of Beirut’s ‘Post Cards From Italy’ as they walked back down the aisle.

They returned to the the the old barn at the bottom of the hill where the reception was held after some photos with wedding party near the quarry. The old barn had been cleaned up and decorated by their family. Dinner was served by Market Eating House and drinks by Your Turn Events under a Marquee tent. As the sun set over the farm we ducked out for some golden hour photos with the couple. After the speeches Hannah and Kieren had their first dance surrounded by their guests under fairy lights in the barn. The barn became a disco as more & more guests joined in.

A review from Hannah

Taj is a real pro. He didn't miss a moment on our special day and we treasure the photos. They all came out really well. He was great to work with too.

Couldn't recommend highly enough.’
